Gunnersbury's free craft market is 28 and 29 Nov, Acton's Churchfield Road market Sat 12 Dec and Duck Pond 13 Dec. No Ealing Broadway market date yet.
Four Christmas markets in Ealing borough have 2026 dates so far, all free to walk into. In date order: Greenford Quay’s Christmas lights weekend on 27 and 28 November, Gunnersbury’s Christmas craft market on 28 and 29 November, Your Acton’s Maker’s Market on Churchfield Road on Saturday 12 December, and Duck Pond’s Christmas market in Gunnersbury Park on Sunday 13 December.
What is missing is a market in Ealing town centre itself. The Town Square market at Ealing Broadway shopping centre has no 2026 listing, and the last one we can document ran in 2023. Details on that, and on the community markets that have not announced, are further down.
Every date below was read on the organiser’s own page on 6 October 2026.

Greenford Quay Xmas Lights, 27 and 28 November
Friday 27 November, 4pm to 8pm, and Saturday 28 November, 12pm to 6pm. T&T Street Food Markets lists live music by the canal, street food, DJs, creative workshops and family entertainment, “and it’s free to come” (T&T Street Food Markets). It is at Tillermans Court, Grenan Square, UB6 0FT.
This is more a street food and lights event than a stall market, and the page does not print a year: Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November only line up that way in 2026. Last year’s Saturday at Greenford Quay was billed as a festive market with artisan stalls. For the lights side, see our Christmas lights switch-on page.
Gunnersbury Christmas Craft Market, 28 and 29 November
Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November, free entry, no booking. Stalls of handmade crafts and gifts, plants and food, set out in front of the Rothschild Rooms (Gunnersbury Park & Museum).
Check the opening time before you go early. The event details box on Gunnersbury’s page says 10am to 4pm on both days, but the banner at the top of the same page says 11am. We have used the details box in the table; if you are arriving at opening, allow for an 11am start.
The park entrance for the museum and the Rothschild Rooms is on Popes Lane, W5 4NH. Acton Town station (District and Piccadilly lines) is the nearest.
Your Acton Maker’s Market, Saturday 12 December
Saturday 12 December, 10am to 4.30pm, Churchfield Road, Acton W3 6AY, free. It is the last of the four dates Your Acton BID set for 2026 (18 April, 20 June, 19 September and 12 December), and the BID describes 40-plus independent traders, artisans and food stalls (Your Acton BID).
Two notes on that page. The BID says the dates “may be subject to change”, and its “Next Market” box still reads 18 April 2026, so it has not been touched since spring. We will check the December date again in November.
Churchfield Road is closed between Burlington Gardens and Alfred Road on market days, so do not plan to drive or park along it. Acton Central (Overground) is beside the market, and the BID lists buses 207, 70, 266, 607, E3, 427 and 440.
Last year’s December market on Churchfield Road also had a Santa’s grotto. The 2026 page does not mention one; our Santa’s grotto page has the borough’s confirmed grottos.
Duck Pond Market Christmas, Sunday 13 December
Sunday 13 December, 10am to 4pm, in Gunnersbury Park. Duck Pond Market’s own calendar lists it as “Duck Pond Market Christmas in Gunnersbury Park”, an artisan and food market (Duck Pond Market). Its Gunnersbury page says the market is “back for a trial period”, set up in front of the museum and along the drive, on 13 September, 11 October, 8 November and 13 December (Duck Pond Market, Gunnersbury).
So the 8 November market, 10am to 4pm, is a pre-Christmas option on the same site. Duck Pond also runs two Christmas days at Chiswick House and Gardens, just over the borough boundary in Hounslow, on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December, 10am to 3pm.
Ealing Broadway: no Town Square market listed for 2026
Searches for an Ealing Christmas market still turn up “Christmas Market on Town Square”, with wooden chalets in front of the shopping centre from 18 November to Christmas Eve. That was 2023. The archived Make It Ealing listing is dated “18 November 2023 to 24 December 2023” (Wayback Machine copy), the local recruitment call for stallholders was published on 3 October 2023 (Ealing.News), and the listing now returns a “page not found”.
On 6 October 2026 the shopping centre’s own events list had a Santa’s grotto, a Waterstones storytime and its summer events, and no market (Ealing Broadway). Make It Ealing’s events page also lists the grotto and two candle-making workshops (15 November and 13 December) but no market (Make It Ealing). If either announces one, it goes on this page.
Hanwell, Northfields and Southall: last year’s dates only
Ealing Council’s arts site still carries last year’s Christmas round-up, which listed Hanwell’s Winter and pre-Christmas Market on Saturday 22 November 2025, the Northfields Christmas Fayre on Saturday 6 December 2025 and Southall’s Festive Markets on 6 and 7 December 2025 (ealingculture.org).
Search summaries are now serving those as this year’s dates. They are not: 22 November 2026 is a Sunday, not a Saturday. None of the three has published a 2026 date, and on last year’s timing they appear in the council’s listings in November.
Getting there and parking
Both Gunnersbury markets fall on busy Christmas shopping weekends, and Churchfield Road is shut to traffic for the Acton market, so public transport is the easier way in. Check roadworks and travel in Ealing and our parking in Ealing page, which covers controlled parking zone hours and every council car park, before driving.
What we will update
- Acton, 12 December: re-checked in November, as the BID marks it subject to change.
- Ealing Broadway: any market from the shopping centre or Make It Ealing.
- Hanwell, Northfields and Southall: 2026 dates when the organisers or the council publish them.
- Gunnersbury: the 10am or 11am opening, if the museum corrects its page.
For the rest of the season, see what’s on in Ealing this month, the pantomime and the fireworks displays.
